Dortmund, who finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season, currently have five points from their first four games of the season. The North Rhine-Westphalia outfit drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their last Bundesliga game.

The game was goalless till Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan broke the deadlock a minute after the hour mark, but Frankfurt hit back just seven minutes later through Ioannis Amanatidis. Dortmund’s only win of the season came in Week 1 against Cologne at home. Zidan’s strike partner Nelson Haedo Valdez is Dortmund’s top scorer in the league with two goals.

Dutch winger Arjen Robben made a dream debut at the Allianz Arena as Bayern crushed defending champions Wolfsburg 3-0 in their last game. It was a much needed win for under pressure Bayern manager Louis van Gaal, who had picked up only two points from their first three games of the season.

Mario Gomez scored the opener against Wolfsburg, and Robben scored twice in the second half as Bayern got their season back on track at the Allianz Arena. Dortmund’s defenders could be in for a hard time if Robben and French playmaker Franck Ribery get their act together this weekend. Ukraine international Anatoliy Tymoschuk is expected to continue deputising for injured skipper Mark Van Bommel in midfield.
