Bordeaux will be looking to maintain their excellent form in the Champions League and book a place in the quarter finals with a comfortable victory over Olympiacos in their knockout stage match on Wednesday. The French champions have won their last six games, conceding just one goal in the process, and are clear favorites to qualify for the next round in spite of a dip in form that has seen them cede a four point lead at the top of the league table.

Bordeaux secured a vital 1-0 win in the first leg with Michael Ciani scoring the only goal of the match late in the first half. While Olympiacos are expected to bow out of the competition, pressure will be high on Laurent Blanc’s side who have managed just a draw from the two matches played after the first leg. Bordeaux will be without Marc Planus who is out of action due to a knee injury while there are some fitness concerns over Alou Diarra.
