The Blues registered a thumping 4-0 win at Stamford Bridge to dump out Bolton from the Carling Cup fourth round match on Wednesday with Salomon Kalou, Florent Malouda, Deco and Didier Drogba on target.

It has been a very good start to Chelsea this season and new manager Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to make sure that his side will maintain this sort for form throughout the season and will be looking to avoid a slump that saw the club drop out from the title race last season. While Chelsea had secured a comfortable 2-0 win in this fixture last season, manager Gary Megson will be hoping that his side can display fighting quality similar to the one display at Stamford Bridge last season which saw Bolton almost snatch a point in their 4-3 defeat.
