Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways when they visit Bolton Wanderers in their Premier League encounter this Sunday. The Toffees have had an inconsistent start to the new season and currently sit 11th in the league table with 11 points from eight games. Everton looked to have hit form following back to back wins over Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth but have now managed to collect just two points from their last two games against Stoke City and Wolves.

David Moyes' side almost returned empty handed against Wolves last weekend after Kevin Doyle looked to have had won the game for the visitors in the 76th minute only for Diniyar Bilyaletdinov to grab the equalizer just two minutes before the half time whistle. Bolton Wanderers on the other hand will be looking to build on their good display against Manchester United from last weekend and move further away from the relegation zone. The Trotters came very close to snatching a point at Old Trafford after going 2-0 down at half time. Zat Knight scored an own goal early in the 5th minute while Antonio Valencia scored his first goal for United just past the half hour mark.

Matthew Taylor gave Bolton some hope by reducing the deficit with 15 minutes remaining and Gary Cahill should have had restored parity late in injury time but was only able to direct his header straight to Edwin Van der Sar. The defeat means Bolton still remain within touching distance of the relegation zone with eight points from eight games, just one point above 18th placed Hull City.
