The 43-year old jumped on the chance for a move to Bolton early this month leaving both Burnley fans and the board devastated. With both the teams struggling near the relegation zone, Coyle will be hoping to use his vast knowledge of the Burnley squad and conjure up Bolton’s first win in five games and lift the club out of the relegation zone.

The Trotters registered their first ever win under Coyle with a comfortable 2-0 win over Sheffield United in their FA Cup match on Saturday.
