The Trotters won only their second league game under Owen Coyle as a Zat Knight goal was enough to secure them a narrow 1-0 win over Wolves last weekend. With his side set to play Sunderland and Wigan in their next two games, Coyle will be hopeful that his side can collect maximum points from the next three games as he looks to help Bolton pull well clear of the drop zone.

West Ham on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Manchester United last week and build on their recent return to form starting with a victory over Bolton this Saturday.

The Hammers were completely outplayed by United with Wayne Rooney continuing his excellent form in front of the goal by bagging a brace. While his side are still three points clear of the drop zone, manager Gianfranco Zola will be aware that they will have to collect all three points this weekend with West Ham scheduled to face Chelsea and Arsenal in their next two games.

Benni McCarthy has still not recovered from his knee injury and is expected to be out of action for at least another week while Bolton will be missing Mark Davies and Gary Cahill.
