Sunderland manager Roy Keane will be looking to finish the season on a high starting with a convincing victory over Bolton Wanderers when the two teams meet in their Premiership match on Saturday.

Sunderland secured their Premiership status with a late winner against Middlesbrough last weekend. The Black Cats looked headed for a third straight defeat when Sanli Tuncay put Boro in an early lead in the 4th minute. However goals from Danny Higginbotham and Michael Chopra put Sunderland in a 2-1 lead by half time.

Boro staged a come back in the second half to equalize through Afonso Alves but an own goal by Emanuel Pogatetz in the injury time provided a deserved victory for Sunderland who went seven points clear of Birmingham City with just two games to go in the season.

Bolton Wanderers on the other hand will be desperately searching for a victory with the club just one point away from the drop zone. Gary Megson's side has collected seven points of a possible nine and the good form has helped Bolton lift themselves out of the relegation zone.

With the club set to play Chelsea in their final match of the season, Megson will be hoping to collect all three points against Sunderland and hope that Birmingham City drop points against Fulham this weekend.

Sunderland had emerged comfortable 3-1 victors early this season but Megson will be hoping to repeat the performance during his side's last home game against Sunderland when Bolton won 2-0 back in March 2006.
