Blackburn Rovers will be hoping to register their first win of the new season when they take on newly promoted club Wolves as Premiership action resumes this weekend. Watch all the live football streaming by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

The Rovers have had a disappointing start to the season, losing two and managing to draw just one of their first three games to occupy the final relegation spot in the league table. Having lost their opening two matches against Manchester City and Sunderland, Blackburn put up an improved performance in their Carling Cup win over Gillingham before registering their first points of the season by holding West Ham to a 0-0 draw in their last game.

Manager Sam Allardyce has downplayed his side's poor start, stating that his side have performed well in all of their games and have been unlucky with the results so far. While Blackburn have struggled to score goals upfront, Allardyce revealed that he was looking for some improved performances from his defense adding that a good defense will provide a sound foundation for his team to overcome their slow start.

Wolves on the other hand have impressed since losing 2-0 to West Ham on the opening day of the season and manager Mick McCarthy will be looking to register a positive result against a side tipped to struggle in the lower half of the league table.

Michael Kightly and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake should be available for selection after recovering from their injuries though defender Stephen Ward is out of action for at least three months with a knee injury.
