Blackburn Rovers could soon be looking for a new manager unless they register some much-needed points against Stoke City in their Premiership clash this weekend. Watch all the live soccer streams from that game here on Live Sport Network. Blackburn boss Paul Ince is under massive pressure at Ewood Park and although the board have assured him of their support, things could quickly get worse for the former England player. The pressure on Ince was compounded last week when his side sank to a miserable 3-0 loss to Wigan Athletic away from home.
Goals from Emile Heskey, Antonio Valencia and Lee Cattermole gave the home side all three points and left Blackburn mulling their options as the season approaches the halfway stage. The loss left the Rovers on the 19th spot on the Premier League table with 13 points from 17 games played so far. The only good news from Ewood Park for Ince is that midfielder David Dunn has recovered from an Achilles injury and could feature in this game against Stoke.
Meanwhile Stoke City battled to a 0-0 draw at home against Fulham to remain on the 13th spot on the league table with 20 points from 17 games. The Potters have had a good run in recent times and manager Tony Pulis will look to continue in the same vein as the hectic Christmas schedule approaches. However for this game, Tony Pulis could be without striker Mamady Sidibe who injured his knee in the Fulham game. Andy Griffin and Salif Diao are also struggling with injuries, while long throw-in specialist Rory Delap has a shoulder problem.
Pulis knows Blackburn are under pressure and will goad his side on to register an important away win on Saturday.
