Blackburn Rovers will be looking to erase memories of the 4-0 drubbing at Arsenal last week when they welcome a buoyant Fulham to Ewood Park this Saturday. Wall all live Premiership action here on Live Sport Network.

Emmanuel Adebayor scored a hat-trick after Theo Walcott had set up fellow striker Robin van Persie for the opening goal at the Emirates Stadium last weekend as Blackburn succumbed meekly to a vastly superior team. For Blackburn Roque Santa Cruz was in nervy form and this will be a concern ahead of this clash.

 

 

Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince has not pressed the panic button yet saying the result was in keeping with the trend and that his side was on the right direction. The deal to bring Robbie Fowler to Ewood Park has been finalized and the former Liverpool strike may lend experience to the Blackburn line-up in latter part of the games.

Meanwhile Ince has sent out goalkeeper Frank Fielding to Northampton and midfielder Rostyn Griffiths to Accrington Stanley on loan to improve their game.

 

 

Fulham on the other hand have made an exceptional start to their campaign this season. Faced with a tough game against Arsenal in only their second match, the Cottagers came through unscathed with a 1-0 win.

In their last game, Fulham managed to overcome Bolton 2-1 at Craven Cottage to prove their Arsenal win was no flash in the pan. Goals from Zoltan Gera and Bobby Zamora nullified a late strike from Kevin Davies.

The win sees Fulham installed in the top half of the table with six points from three games. Last season this fixture ended in a 1-1 draw.
