A confident Portsmouth side will be looking to register a second successive victory when they take on Blackburn Rovers in their next Premier League encounter on Saturday. Catch all the live football feeds from that game here on Live Sport Network.

After losing their first seven games, Portsmouth look to have turned their form around with some good performances from their last four matches. Though they are still at the foot of the league table, Pompey have collected seven points from their last four games and manager Paul Hart will be optimistic that his side will pull themselves clear of the drop zone if they manage to maintain their form in the next few matches.

Pompey registered their biggest win of the season as they thrashed Wigan Athletic 4-0 in their last match. Aruna Dindane scored a brilliant hat trick while Frederic Piquionne scored another as Pompey built on their thumping win over Stoke City in their Carling Cup match.

Meanwhile Blackburn Rovers will be looking to bounce back from their two straight defeats and pull themselves away from the drop zone. The Rovers are currently 17th in the league table, just two points above the drop zone and manager Sam Allardyce will be aware that his side will have to collect all three points if they are to remain outside the bottom three.

After a 5-0 drubbing by Chelsea, Blackburn put up a good fight against Manchester United in their last match but were undone by second half goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney.

Blackburn had secured a comfortable 2-0 win in their fixture Morten Gamst Pedersen and Benni McCarthy hitting the target. However the South African is a doubtful starter for this season's clash after declaring that he will be looking to move in the January transfer window.
