Spurs’ hopes of claiming a Champions League spot next season received a boost in the midweek as they beat Fulham while Liverpool dropped two vital points against Wolves. New signing Eidur Gudjohnsen could make his debut for Tottenham after joining the London club on a six month loan. Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto remain sidelined with injuries along with Carlo Cudicini and Jonathan Woodgate.
