A Rodrigo Tello goal was enough for Besiktas to become the first team in over 2 years to secure a European victory at Old Trafford. The Turkish side suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to CSKA early this season. Alan Dzagoev had opened the scoring early in the 7th minute and Milos Krasic doubled the lead in the second half before Ekrem Dag grabbed a consolation goal for the visitors late in injury time.

Denizli will be hopeful that CSKA’s poor run of form away from home continues on Tuesday with the Russian club last winning a game on road back in 2004 when they beat Paris St Germain though their most recent visit to Turkey ended in a 3-1 defeat to Fenerbahce in 2007.
