After being at the receiving end of a 5-1 thrashing from Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich will hope for a quick return to winning ways when they host Eintracht Frankfurt this weekend. Watch live German Bundesliga here on free football tv, your best place for German football streams.

Bayern were routed 5-1 by Felix Magath’s Wolfsburg last week, a result that dealt a huge blow to their chances of retaining the Bundesliga. Luca Toni’s solitary goal was the only saving grace for Bayern, who were second best to their opponents for most part of the match.

The defeat means Bayern go into this weekend’s fixture in fourth place. Wolfsburg are the leaders with 51 points, three more than Bayern. Central defender Lucio is a doubt for this clash with a muscle injury. He was replaced by Andreas Ottl in the second half against Wolfsburg, and also missed Bayern’s Champions League game against Barcelona.

Goals from Nikos Liberpoulos and Markus Steinhofer allowed Eintracht Frankfurt to beat relegation threatened Energie Cottbus 2-1 last week. Cottbus took the lead through Dimitar Rangelov, but Frankfurt came back from behind to pick up three crucial points. The return of Liberpoulos from injury would have provided some much needed relief to coach Freidhelm Funkel, who currently has to do without the likes of Fenin, Amanatidis and Preuss.

The result- Frankfurt’s first win in five league games, eases their relegation fears. At this point, they are only six points above the drop zone. When Frankfurt hosted Bayern in the league in October, they took the lead through an own goal from Martin Demichelis, only for Miroslav Klose and Franck Ribery to strike back for Bayern.
