Patrick Helmes rescued a point for Leverkusen in their game against relegation threatened Bielefeld on Friday evening. Stefan Kießling gave Leverkusen the lead, but an own goal from Manuel Freidrich and a Robert Tesche strike saw Arminia go 2-1 ahead. However Helmes’ left footed effort 11 minutes from time saved the day for the hosts at the LTU Arena.
