Zenit St Petersburg will be hoping to qualify for the first ever European final their history when they visit Germany for the second time in a month to take on Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Cup semi final clash on Thursday. Zenit are the only team remaining in the competition who are yet to participate in the European final. Bayern qualified for the semi finals after beating Spanish side Getafe on away goals after both the legs finished with an aggregate score of 4-4. The German giants were held by Getafe to a 1-1 draw at home before a late brace by Luca Toni got them a 3-3 draw in the second leg.
