Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld will be looking to add the UEFA Cup to his impressive portfolio. Hitzfeld has never won the UEFA Cup, but he can boast of having won the Champions League twice before.

Hitzfeld is also quitting Munich for the Switzerland coaching job, so he would like to bow out on a high with the UEFA Cup in the bag. Former German national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann is due to replace Hitzfeld at the end of the season.

Meanwhile Getafe striker Kepa Blanco could net a unique hat-trick of wins should the side win the trophy. Blanco had featured in the Sevilla side that won the previous two editions of the UEFA Cup.
