The Catalan giants have had a disappointing outing in their last two matches with Barcelona dropping two points against Valencia in their league encounter last weekend. They followed it up with another below par performance as they suffered a shock defeat to Rubin Kazan in their Champions League match on Tuesday.

The Barcelona coach expressed his disappointment at the result but added that his players had given their all but luck and result was not on their side.

Though they are still at the top of the table both in the domestic league and in the Champions League, Josep Guardiola will be aware that his side cannot afford any more slip ups with Real Madrid cutting the lead at the top of the La Liga table to just one point.

While Barcelona are expected to register a comfortable victory over newly promoted Zaragoza side, the Blanquillos coach Marcelino Toral will be looking to pull off a shock result at Camp Nou that will see them collect vital three points and pull further away from the drop zone.

Real Zaragoza were let down by some poor defending late in the game in their 2-2 draw against Racing Santander last weekend. Goals from Francisco Pavon and Javier Arizmendi had given Zaragoza a 2-0 lead by the half time whistle but two goals in the final ten minutes by Mohamed Tchite and Oscar Serrano meant that both the teams had to settle for a point each.

Zaragoza lost both their matches against Barcelona the last time the two teams met back in 2007-08 season with Barca winning 4-1 at Camp Nou thanks to a brace from Lionel Messi while Andres Iniesta and Rafael Marquez were also on target.
