Manager Josep Guardiola is on the brink of ensuring a dream debut season as manager of the world's biggest club. The former Spain international has led the Catalans to La Liga success as well as the Copa Del Rey crown this season.

Thierry Henry is expected to make it to the starting eleven after he trained over the weekend following an injury, which kept him out of the side since Barcelona's 6-2 win over Real Madrid.

However Iniesta is a grave doubt for the final as are Dani Alves, Rafa Marquez and Gabi Milito. Eric Abidal is suspended for the final.

Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed a wish that he wants to win at least two more European titles before he calls it a day on his illustrious career. He has an opportunity to collect one of those crowns on Wednesday as the Red Devils seek to become the first team to successfully defend their UEFA Champions League title.

United topped Group E and beat Inter Milan 2-0 in the first knockout round before overcoming a tenacious Porto 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

In the semi-finals, Manchester United were drawn to face Arsenal, who they outclassed by a 4-1 margin. Carrying a 1-0 lead into the second leg, United beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg in a ruthless display thanks to a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and another goal from Ji-Sung Park.

Darren Fletcher will be suspended for the Champions League final, while Rio Ferdinand faces a tough race to be fit in time for kick-off in Rome.
