Barcelona face a tough task on Wednesday as they welcome third placed Sevilla in their next match with the Catalan giants hoping to maintain their six point advantage at the top of the league table. Catch all the live La Liga action here on Live Sport Network.

Six wins in their last six games has seen Barcelona consolidate their position at the top of the table but with Real Madrid expected to secure a comfortable victory over Getafe on Tuesday, manager Josep Guardiola will be aware that his side will have to beat Sevilla if they are to maintain their supremacy in the race for the league title.

Barcelona secured their sixth clean sheet in a row last weekend when they secured a narrow win away to Getafe. Lionel Messi came to Barca's rescue once again as he scored an excellent goal to put his side ahead early in the 19th minute and though Getafe threatened late in the game, Barcelona hung on to claim a vital win.

Gabi Milito remains sidelined for Barca, but Eric Abidal and Thierry Henry are back at full throttle after recovering from their respective injuries.

Meanwhile Sevilla will be looking to avenge their humiliating defeat from the last time these two teams met early this season. Lionel Messi scored a brace late in the second half after Samuel Eto'o had put Barcelona in the lead as the Catalan giants secured a comfortable 3-0 win.

With his side destined to finish third, manager Manolo Jimenez will now be looking for a strongest possible finish to the season. Sevilla are currently placed third in the league table with 57 points from 30 matches, 8 points ahead of Atletico Madrid and 15 points behind second placed Real Madrid.
