Mallorca are currently seventh on the La Liga table with 53 points from 36 games. The side is hoping to challenge for a UEFA Cup place next season and these hopes were boosted with a 2-1 win over relegation threatened Osasuna on Wednesday.

Daniel Guiza and Oscar Trejo scored for the hosts, while Javier Portillo pulled one back for the visitors. Coach Gregorio Manzano knows his side needs to be on their toes if they are to close out the three points required to clinch the UEFA Cup slot.
