Barcelona will be looking to get back to winning ways in the La Liga following a disappointing 1-1 draw at Espanyol last time around. They welcome Deportivo La Coruna to the Camp Nou this weekend, knowing that they will have to pull up their socks if they are to challenge rivals Real Madrid for the crown. Andres Iniesta opened the scoring for Barcelona at Espanyol in the 6th minute, but his effort was nullified by an equalizer from substitute Ferran Corominas.

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard is under pressure following a spate of poor domestic results away from home. However the Catalans have mounting injury worries. The long list of injured players includes Samuel Eto'o, Deco, Lilian Thuram Oleguer, Edmilson and Sylvinho. This week star striker Thierry Henry joined the walking wounded because of a recurrence of a chronic back injury. The former Arsenal star is expected to be out for two weeks. Barcelona are second on the La Liga table with 28 points from 14 games.

Deportivo La Coruna on the other hand are having a miserable La Liga season and are sitting deep in the relegation zone. They lost their home fixture against Osasuna 1-2 although a late equalizer from substitute Ruben Castro had allowed them hope of escaping with a draw. However a 88th minute goal by Eduardo Gomes Dady sealed the home side's fate.

Manager Miguel Angel Lotina will be hoping for a better performance from his side when they clash with Barcelona. Aythami Artiles and Pablo Amo could be back in the time if they are able to prove fitness ahead of the game.

Deportivo La Coruna are 18th on the La Liga table with 13 points from 14 games. Last season this fixture was clinched 2-1 by Barcelona.
