After a slight blip in the midseason, Atletico look to have regained their form and are just one point behind Valencia in the race for the final UEFA Champions League qualification spot. Roman opened the scoring in the 66th minute before Nicolas Pareja and Anderson completed the rout late in the game to secure a fourth successive win for Espanyol.

While the club is still in danger of dropping back into the relegation dogfight, manager Mauricio Pochettino will be confident that his side will keep up the winning streak by repeating their last season's performance and come away with a vital win on Sunday.
