Juve looked to have snapped out of a poor run of form by collecting seven points from three games but slumped to a disappointing defeat to Napoli last weekend. Goals from David Trezeguet and Sebastian Giovinco had given Juventus a comfortable 2-0 lead but Napoli fought back as two goals in space of five minutes from Marek Hamsik and Jesus Datolo restored parity before Hamsik slotted home the winner with just nine minutes remaining on the clock.

The latest setback sees Juventus slip seven points behind league leaders Inter Milan and coach Ciro Ferrara will be hoping that his side can string together a run of victories that will see them get back into the title race.

Meanwhile Atalanta will be looking to avoid a third straight defeat this weekend. The Orobici have had a poor start to the season but looked to have turned their form around with back to back victories and move out of the relegation zone.

However two defeats in their last two matches has once again put Atalanta within touching distance of the drop zone. With Juventus struggling for consistency, Atalanta coach Antonio Conte will be hoping that his side will manage to put up a good performance and collect at least a point on Saturday.
