It has been a satisfactory return to the top flight for Juventus with the club all but certain to qualify to the Champions League for the next season. Though winning the title is still a mathematical probability, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri will now be hoping to play it safe and hang on to their third spot with the club eight points clear of fourth placed Fiorentina with five more games left in the season.

A clinical performance against Parma saw them emerge comfortable 3-0 winners in their rescheduled fixture on Wednesday. David Trezeguet opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a controversial goal while Raffaele Palladino doubled the lead on the half hour mark before an own goal by Stefano Morrone put the result beyond Parma's reach.

Atalanta go into the clash this weekend on the back of back to back defeats to Inter Milan and Napoli that has seen them slip into the bottom half of the league table. Atalanta have registered just one win in their last five matches and coach Luigi Del Neri will be disappointed by his team's performance this season after pre season hopes of challenging for a European spot.

Juventus have had a great recent record against Atalanta, winning eight of their last 10 league meetings including the narrow 1-0 victory that they had registered early this season. However both the draws came at the Stadio Azzurri D`Italia and Del Neri will be hoping that his side will be able to come out with at least a point this Sunday.
