The Nerazzurri suffered a shock 2-1 defeat away to Juventus last weekend to see their lead at the top of the table cut down to four points. Giorgio Chiellini opened the scoring for Juventus in the 20th minute but Samuel Eto’o equalized six minutes later. However it was the hosts who had the last laugh as Claudio Marchisio scored the winning goal in the 58th minute to give his side all three points from the game.

Manager Jose Mourinho was clearly disappointed over his side’s performance and refused to speak with the media after the match. However Mourinho should be in better spirits this weekend after his side booked a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a comfortable 2-0 win over Rubin Kazan on Wednesday.

Meanwhile Atalanta coach Antonio Conte will be hoping for a repeat of last season’s performance and register another shock win and pull further away from the relegation zone. La Dea secured a shock 3-1 win in this fixture last season before suffering a narrow 4-3 defeat at the San Siro.

Atalanta are desperately in need of points with the club’s poor run of just one win in last five games seeing them sit uncomfortably close to the drop zone.
