Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson will be expecting a vastly improved performance from his side when they take on Aston Villa on Saturday. The Trotters were thrashed by Chelsea in their last two matches with the Blues winning 4-0 both in their Carling Cup match and in the Premier League last weekend. Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Deco were on target for Chelsea with Zat Knight scoring an own goal as the Blues secured yet another comfortable result over Bolton.

Megson expressed his disappointment over the results and called on his defense to put up a better fight in the next matches. The Bolton manager also question Knight's ability to keep his focus on the game, adding that the former Villa defender has it in him to become a better player should he manage to keep his concentration levels high right till the final whistle.

Bolton will be keen to get their season back on track with the club collecting seven points from their last five games to sit 15th in the league table. The Trotters have suffered heavy defeats on their visits to Villa Park in the last two seasons but with Villa struggling for form, Megson will be hoping to collect at least a point this time around.

Just one win in their last six matches has seen Villa throw away a good start to the season and slip down to seventh in the league table.

Martin O'Neill's side are tipped to put up a good fight for a place in next season's Champions League and with Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all struggling for form, the Villa manager will be looking up to his players to find a green patch of form that could see them pull clear of their immediate rivals.
