Aston Villa lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday in a game that assumes importance for both sides as they continue to battle for that elusive champions league spot. You can watch all the live Premier League football from Villa Park by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Villa are currently in the fifth place with 25 points from 13 games played so far. Their aspirations of breaking into the top four will be severely tested this season by Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool.

However manager Martin O'Neill is confident he has the depth in his squad, which was sorely missing towards the end of last season. However Villa's ambition took a knock last week when they had to come from behind to hold Burnley to a 1-1 draw.

Steven Caldwell had given Burnley the lead in the 9th minute and this goal looked to have won his side the game. However an 86th minute header from Emile Heskey rescued a point for Villa.

Stewart Downing is back in training and could be on the bench for this game.

Meanwhile Tottenham sounded a serious warning to the top four pretenders by trashing Wigan 9-1 last week. Five goals from Jermaine Defoe and a goal apiece from Peter Crouch, David Bentley, Aaron Lennon and Niko Kranjcar gave Spurs an emphatic win. Wigan goalie Chris Kirkland scored an own goal in stoppage time to round off a fine night for Spurs. Wigan's lone strike came from Paul Schraner.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was delighted with his side's showing and will hope they continue in the same vein for this game as well.

Redknapp also does not have any fresh injury concerns; however Luka Modric continues to be sidelined.
