Aston Villa will be looking to sustain their challenge for a European slot when they take on relegation battlers Sunderland in their Premiership encounter on Saturday.

Just two points from their last three matches has seen Villa slip to seventh in the league table with Portsmouth in pole position to qualify for Europe next season. Sunderland are currently positioned 17th in the league table with 29 points from 30 matches and are just two points above Bolton Wanderers who have a game in hand against Manchester United.

Sunderland have managed to collect just three points on their travels this season and with the club still scheduled to play four of their remaining 8 matches away from home, fans will be hoping that their side will manage to overcome their poor form and maintain their position in the Premiership.
