With much of the season gone, Aston Villa find themselves comfortably positioned sixth in the league table with every chance of clinching the qualification for the UEFA Cup next season. O'Neill will be without Olof Mellberg, Curtis Davis and Nigel Reo-Coker with all the three players out with injuries.

Meanwhile Middlesbrough will be hoping to bounce back from their defeat to Reading last weekend and look to finish the season with some convincing performances in their remaining matches. Boro are placed 12th in the league table with 29 points from 28 matches and are just four points away from the drop zone.
