A pumped up Arsenal take on Aston Villa in their next Premiership clash over the weekend having come through an acid test by winning at home to bitter rivals Manchester United last weekend. Watch all the live soccer streams here on Live Sport Network.

 

 

Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-1 in what was easily the most watched fixture last week. Samir Nasri scored twice to give the Gunners a memorable win and although Rafael Da Silva gave the Arsenal defense a few anxious moments late on, it was an emphatic win for Arsene Wenger's boys.

With electrifying pace and football of the highest quality, Nasri showed fans why Wenger was willing to pay over the top to secure his services during the summer. While Arsenal have been inconsistent so far, fans as well as Wenger will be hoping this win will spur them on to greater heights.

 

 

Injury concerns continue to dog Arsenal with recent reports indicating that Czech Republic midfielder Tomas Rosicky has been forced to undergo further surgery to his left knee. Rosicky suffered a tendon injury which has seen his out of the team since January this year.

Meanwhile Aston Villa have slipped up of late although they continue to occupy the fifth position on the Premier League table. Last week, Middlesbrough put one over them at home to win 1-2 thanks to a brace from Tuncay Sanli.

 

 

Steve Sidwell pulled one back for Villa, but he proved to be the culprit in the ultimate analysis as it was his woeful back pass in the 88th minute that set up the win for Boro.

Manager Martin O'Neill will hope his side can start winning consistently although even he will acknowledge that the Emirates Stadium is a tough place to start this.
