Porto will be looking to avoid a repeat of the result from their last visit to the Emirates Stadium when they take on Arsenal in the second leg of their Champions League knockout stage clash on Tuesday. The Dragons go into the second leg with a slender lead as goals from Silvestre Varela and Falcao helped them secure a 2-1 win in Portugal. Though Porto need just a draw in the second leg to progress to the next stage, coach Jesualdo Ferreira will be aware of the dangers of playing for just a draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Both the teams were clubbed in the same group last season with Arsenal emerging comfortable 4-0 winners in England with Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor managing to grab a brace.

However with both the players not playing for Arsenal on Tuesday, Ferreira will be optimistic that his side can come away with a positive result and qualify to the quarter finals for a second successive season.

Meanwhile Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger will be confident that his side can overturn the deficit from the first leg with the Gunners needing just a 1-0 win in order to progress to the next stage. Arsenal have qualified out of the knockout stage in three of the last four occasions and Wenger will be expecting nothing less than a victory as he looks to maintain his side’s good form in the competition.
