Last season the Gunners suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to arch rivals Manchester United in the fifth round in a match that was billed as a blockbuster. With the Premiership title all but out of their reach, Arsenal will be looking to collect some silverware in the FA and the League Cups. Arsenal striker Jay Simpson has recently inked a new deal at the club and may start in this game. Plymouth on the other hand are faring dismally in the Coca-Cola Football League Championship and will look to this game as a means of enthusing their supporters.

 

 

Last season Plymouth lost 2-1 to Portsmouth in the fourth round with Clarke scoring for them, while Lassana Diarra and Nico Kranjcar scoring for Pompey. A win here will be seen as a massive boost to the club, who have decided to retain the services of on-loan Blackburn striker Paul Gallagher till the end of the season. Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock could have Karl Duguid and Emile Mpenza back for this game after the pair recovered from calf and hamstring injuries respectively.
