Wenger needs to ring in some changes ahead of this game as fans may not take lightly of another tepid performance especially against the Red Devils.

Meanwhile Manchester United themselves survived a scare against Hull City holding on to emerge 4-3 winners. United seemed to be on the road to a comfortable win after two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and one each from Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidic put them 4-1 up with Daniel Cousin pulling one back for Hull.

 

 

However a late fight back from the Tigers saw Bernard Mendy and Geovanni score to set up a thrilling finish. Mendy was fouled in the area by Rio Ferdinand and the resulting penalty was tapped in by Geovanni. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson was furious with his team despite their win and will hope for a better showing away from home against the Gunners. Last season this fixture ended in a 2-2 draw, while United had clinched the reverse fixture 2-1.
