The Gunners have recovered well from their defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea to register three wins in their last three games including a 1-0 win over Liverpool. Chelsea’s defeat to Manchester City has brought Arsenal back into the title race and manager Arsene Wenger will be hopeful that his side will not drop any more points against weaker teams.

Arsenal secured a comfortable 3-1 win over Stoke City last weekend but the win came at a very heavy price as Aaron Ramsey fractured his leg following a foul by Ryan Shawcross and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Ramsey joins Robin Van Persie and Kieran Gibbs on the treatment table though William Gallas and Abou Diaby are expected to regain fitness before the kick off this weekend.

Meanwhile Burnley coach Brian Laws will be hopeful put up another determined performance similar to the one that saw them hold Arsenal to a draw early in the season. Burnley have lost seven of their last eight games including a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Portsmouth last weekend and find themselves two points away from safety.

Pressure has increased on Laws and the Burnley manager will be aware that his side will have to start collecting points if they are to avoid going straight back to Championship next season.
