With Arsenal knocked out of the FA Cup after a heavy defeat against Manchester United on the weekend, the onus will be on Arsene Wenger to motivate his team ahead of the important clash on Wednesday.

The Gunners qualified for the knockout stage after finishing second behind Sevilla in Group H. Cesc Fabregas is top scorer for Arsenal in the group stage with 3 goals and the Spanish international will be the key player for Wenger along with Emmanuel Adebayor.

Wenger will be missing a number of key players including Tomas Rosicky and Robin Van Persie while Adebayor, Mathieu Flamini, Gael Clichy and Philippe Senderos are not fully fit.

Meanwhile AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to maintain his side's good form in the league that has lifted them to fifth in the Serie A table. While Milan have struggled in the league, their form in the Champions League has been good, with the club losing just one game and finishing at the top of Group D.

Brazilian striker Ronaldo will be out for at least 9 months after rupturing tendons in his left knee during Milan's match against Livorno. Ronaldo's stay at San Siro has been plagued with injuries and the striker has made just six league appearances this season.

Striker Alexandre Pato and midfielder Clarence Seedorf are both struggling to overcome their ankle injuries but Kaka and Alessandro Nesta are both fit for the clash after playing in the 0-0 draw against Parma.
