Albania v Belarus LiveAlbania will want to clinch the fourth spot in Group G of the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign when they welcome Belarus on November 17. Belarus will be playing for pride as they are already out of the race to qualify for the finals.
Albania coach Otto Barić has named a strong squad for the game, but will be watching both games from the stands as he has been banned by UEFA from three national-team competition matches. Baric was banned for improper conduct as he insulted the referee in Albania's clash against Bulgaria last month.
Edmond Kapllani and Lorik Cana are back in the squad after serving their suspensions and should make the first team. Goalkeeper Arjan Beqaj is suspended for the Belarus game and he is replaced by Ilion Lika. However KF Tirana captain Devis Mukaj is out of the game as he is currently recovering from knee surgery.
Belarus coach Bernd Stange has called up Vitali Kutuzov and Aleksandr Kulchiy for the team's final Euro 1008 qualifying games against Albania and the Netherlands. FC Tom Tomsk midfielder Kulchiy has recovered from a thigh injury and hence his inclusion.
Igor Stasevich is a doubtful starter as he has sustained an ankle injury, while Dmitri Molosh misses out with a metatarsal problem. Roman Vasilyuk, Dmitri Mozolevski and Andrei Voronkov do not find a place in the team.
Albania are fourth in Group G with 11 points from 10 games, while Belarus are sixth with 7 points from 10 games.
