Roma are second in the group after their 2-1 comeback win over Fulham on Match Day 4. Claudio Ranieri’s men need a win against Basel to qualify for the round of 32, but a draw will also do if Fulham lose to CSKA Sofia in the other game.

Roma picked up their third win in four Serie A games when they beat Atalanta 2-1 on Sunday. Fabio Ceravolo gave Atalanta the lead in the 13^th minute, but Roma equalised just before half time through striker Mirko Vucinic. The striker headed in David Pizarro’s corner to make it 1-1. Vucinic also had a hand in Roma’s winner, scored by Simone Perrotta in the 64^th minute of the game.

Basel all but confirmed their place in the round of 32 when they they beat CSKA Sofia 3-1 on Match Day 3. Marcos Gelabert’s 35^th minute opener and Alexander Frei’s 41^st minute penalty put the Swiss side 2-0 ahead at the break. CSKA pulled one back through Todor Yanchev on the hour mark, but Frei netted his second in the 67^th minute to settle the issue.

Basel were beaten 2-0 by BSC Young Boys in the Swiss League on Sunday. It was the RotBlau’s fourth league loss of the season, and opened a seven point gap between them and Young Boys.
