The Rossoneri put up an excellent performance against Juventus last weekend to move four points clear in the second place and remain eight points behind Inter. Alessandro Nesta opened the scoring midway through the first half before Ronaldinho scored a brace to help Milan secure a comfortable victory over their rivals.

While Leonardo is delighted with his side’s performances following a difficult start to the season, the Milan coach dismissed all the talks of his side winning the league this season by pointing out that Inter still enjoy a substantial lead at the top of the table and the Rossoneri will have to be at their consistent best if they are to have any hopes of closing down the gap.

Meanwhile Siena coach Alberto Malesani will be hoping for a different result from their second trip to the San Siro stadium in as many matches as he looks to lift his side from the bottom of the league table.

The Bianconeri almost registered a shock victory over Inter after taking a 3-2 lead with just two minutes remaining on the clock. However Wesley Sneijder scored his second goal of the match to pull his side back on level terms before Walter Samuel scored the winner deep in injury time.

It was Siena’s third successive league defeat and Malesani will be aware that his side will have to improve their form sooner rather than later if they are to have any hopes of extending their stay in the Serie A to another season.
