AC Milan will be looking to pull three points clear at the top of their Champions League group table with a second victory over Real Madrid in as many games when the two teams meet again on Tuesday. The Los Blancos went into the game as clear favorites to register a third successive win after impressive performances in their first two games. Madrid looked on course for another comfortable victory after taking the lead through Raul midway through the first half.

Real Madrid though will be looking to prove that the result was just a bad day at the office and will be hoping to get their season back on track with a win. The Spanish side has seen a drop in form, which has coincided with injury to Cristiano Ronaldo and pressure is steadily increasing on coach Manuel Pellegrini to get the side back on the winning track. The Portuguese winger will not be available for selection on Tuesday as he is yet to recover from his ankle injury. While Ronaldo is the only high profile absentee for Madrid, Milan are not so luck with a number of key players including Daniele Bonera, Davide Di Gennaro, Marek Jankulovski and Alessandro Nesta out of action due to injuries.
