Before the international break, AC Milan failed to win their last league game at Napoli and that, coupled with city rivals Inter’s win, has effectively killed off any slim chance Ancellotti’s men had of stealing the Serie A crown. They now find themselves fourteen points behind Inter and seven behind second placed Juventus. This week Milan entertains Lecce at the San Siro and will be looking for the win to at least cement Champions League football for next season. Milan travelled to Naples in the game prior to the international break knowing that anything other than a win against Napoli would have finished their season in terms of league title. Lecce come in to the match on the back of a 2-2 home draw with Atalanta, a result which means they have now gone seven league games without a win. They are second bottom in the league table with 24 points and have only won away twice all season.
