Italian champions Inter Milan will be hoping to end their World Football Challenge campaign with a victory when they take on fellow Italian rivals AC Milan in their final friendly game on Sunday. The Nerazzurri have managed just one draw in their two games, losing to Chelsea in their last game. After losing the opening match to Club America on penalties, expectations of an Inter victory was high with manager Jose Mourinho playing against his former club for the first time since leaving the post two years ago. However goals from Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard meant that it was the Blues who got better of Mourinho.

While his squad have failed to perform as he wanted to in their two games, Mourinho will not except anything less than a victory for Inter Milan against city rivals AC on Sunday and avoid finishing the tournament at the bottom of the table.

 

 

AC Milan too have failed to win their first two games of the friendly competition. Milan opened their campaign with a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Club America. Enrique Esqueda had opened the scoring for the Mexican club and though Filippo Inzaghi equalized for Milan, Club America secured the win through Daniel Marquez.

The defeat to Club America was followed by another disappointing performance against Chelsea with Drogba and new signing Yuri Zhirkov ensuring their manager Carlo Ancelotti's first game against his former club ended in a 2-1 victory.
