Champions Inter, under the continued guidance of the charismatic Jose Mourinho, will again look to challenge on all fronts. The departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovich to Barcelona was matched with the arrival of Samuel Eto’o from the Nou Camp. Under the leadership of their owner, Angelo Moratti, Inter won three straight Italian championships in the 1960s. They went on to win two consecutive European Cups. However, they never dominated domestic football again and were somewhat overshadowed by neighbours AC. Inter were awarded their next Serie A title when a match-fixing scandal rocked Italian football. They subsequently won seventeen straight games and claimed the title again. Four straight titles with the latest success under Mourinho is an impressive record and it will be a brave man to bet against yet another successful campaign.
